ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider her representation dated 25.08.2026, cancel the patta standing in the name of the Government and issue patta in the names of the legal heirs of late Purushothaman and Ramanibai in respect of the property measuring 3,600 sq. metres comprised in Survey Nos.57/6, 59/2 and 90/1, situated at Puthagaram Village, Madhavaram Taluk, Chennai District.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the acquisition proceedings initiated under the Tamil Nadu Urban Land (Ceiling and Regulation) Act, 1978, were declared abated by this Court by order dated 13.07.2023 in W.P. No.28312 of 2021. However, the patta continues to stand in the name of the Government. Though the petitioner made representation 25.08.2026 to the respondents 1 to 3, no action has been taken by the respondents.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Considering the nature of the grievance raised, the respondents 1 to 3 are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.08.2026, in the light of the order dated 13.07.2023 passed in W.P. No.28312 of 2021, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to all stakeholders and other interested parties and affording them a reasonable opportunity of hearing.
5. The above exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
