ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 30.09.2026.
2. The main grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents are proposing to establish a burial or cremation ground on Government Poramboke land comprised in Survey No. 38, measuring 0.31 Ares, situated adjacent to the residential Natham habitation at Keezhaiyur Village, Thirukkovilur Taluk, Kallakurichi District. Aggrieved by this proposal and sanitation concerns, the petitioner made a representation dated 30.09.2026 to the third respondent seeking a local inspection and an assessment of alternative locations. As the said representation was not considered, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to dispose of the representation and to restrain the respondents from establishing the burial ground in the interim.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the

respondents submits, on instructions, that there is no proposal to establish a burial or cremation ground in Survey No. 38/1.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, and perused the materials available on record.
5. In view of the categorical submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader that there is no proposal to establish a burial or cremation ground in Survey No. 38/1, the apprehension expressed by the petitioner is groundless and is not supported by any documentary evidence or other material evidence before this Court.
6. Under such circumstances, this Court finds no merit in the Writ Petition warranting interference under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
