DR M G SHIVAKUMAR BABU vs ASHOK KUMAR SINGH, DIRECTOR GENERAL, ESIC, NEW DELHI AND OTHERS on 2 November 2026

CENTRAL ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL BANGALORE Order Sheet Item no.: 7 C.P./22/2026 (BANGALORE) [ CONTEMPT PETITION ] [ SENIOR CITIZEN ] In O.A./607/2025 EXTENSION OF SERVICE Court No.: 1 No of Adjournment: 3 Order Dated: 02/11/2026 DR M G SHIVAKUMAR BABU Vs ASHOK KUMAR SINGH, DIRECTOR GENERAL, ESIC, NEW DELHI AND OTHERS

For Applicant(s) Advocate : Shri P.A. Kulkarni - through video conference For Respondent(s) Advocate : Shri N. Amaresh Order of The Tribunal Learned counsel Shri N. Amaresh representing the respondents yet further seeks time on the ground that Writ Petition No. 20837/2026 has been adjourned by two weeks on 29.10.2026. Learned counsel for the petitioner strongly objects for any adjournment submitting that pendency of Writ Petition is not a ground to seek adjournment in the absence of interim order. We find considerable force in the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner/applicant. Accordingly, we direct the compliance report to be filed by 10.12.2026, failing which Respondents No. 3 and 4 shall be present before this Bench. List the matter on 10.12.2026.
