PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order of the 1st Respondent vide his proceeding in Na.Ka.No.11320/2025/C3(Maiyam)
dated 26.08.2025 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the Respondents to disburse the retirement benefits and all other applicable monetary benefits along with interest within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner, a sanitary worker, was placed under suspension just prior to the date of his superannuation. This Court, while entertaining the Writ Petition, granted an order of interim stay on 24.10.2025.
2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner has been allowed to retire in view of the amendment to the Fundamental Rules.
3. Since the petitioner has been allowed to retire, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to pay the eligible retirement benefits to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
