1. None appears on behalf of the applicant.
2. Learned Counsel for the Opposite Party is present.
3. Learned counsel for the applicant, on the previous date, pleaded no instructions. Accordingly, notice was issued to the applicant directing him to appear in person or through an effective legal representative. Despite service of notice, neither the applicant nor any legal representative has appeared before the Tribunal.
4. In view of the foregoing facts and circumstances, particularly the absence of the applicant despite due notice and the failure to appear either in person or through an effective legal representative, this Tribunal finds no justification to keep the matter pending any further, especially as the O.A. pertains to the year 2017 and falls within the category of critical old cases. Accordingly, the O.A. is dismissed for default invoking Rule 15 of the Central Administrative Tribunal (Procedure) Rules, 1987.
