CENTRAL ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL PATNA Order Sheet Item no.: 15 O.A./43/2026 (PATNA) [ TERMINATION ] Court No.: 1 No of Adjournment: 5 Order Dated: 30/10/2026 AKASH KUMAR Vs DEPTT OF POSTS

For Applicant(s) Advocate : Mr. S. K. Tiwary For Respondent(s) Advocate : Mr. H. R. Singh, ASC Order of The Tribunal Heard learned counsel for the parties. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that he had intended to file the rejoinder; however, the same could not be filed within the stipulated time. It is pertinent to mention that, vide order dated 07.09.2026, the applicant was granted two weeks' time to file the rejoinder, with a specific stipulation that, in the event of failure to do so, the opportunity to file the rejoinder would stand closed. Accordingly, no further time can be granted as a matter of course. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that due to some compelling reason the rejoinder could not be filed in given time. Filing of reply to written statement is necessary as some new facts has been submitted by the Opposite Parties in written statement hence, he intends to file the rejoinder along with an appropriate application seeking permission in this regard. He further submits that the said application is under preparation and, therefore, seeks an adjournment for the day to enable him to file the rejoinder along with the requisite application. In view of the above request, list this case on 16.12.2026. KUMAR RAJESH CHANDRA Member (A) Justice Narendra Kumar Johari Member (J) Sonali Lal ( court master )
