Through instant petition, very innocuous prayer has been made on behalf of the petitioner to issue direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the Demarcation Application No. 21/8 of 2021 dated 02.03.2021 in terms of Section 107 of H.P. Land Revenue Act, 1954 in time-bound manner.
2. Having regard to the nature of prayer and order proposed to be passed in the instant proceedings, this Court sees no necessity to call for reply from the respondents, who are otherwise represented by Mr. Rajan Kahol, Additional Advocate General.

3. Precisely, the grouse of the petitioner, as has been highlighted in the petition and further canvassed by Mr. Parveen Chandel, learned counsel for the petitioner, is that though in the year 2021, petitioner had filed an application for demarcation and thereafter demarcation was conducted on 26.7.2022, but till date, no order has been passed by Assistant Collector 1st Grade as per Clause 10.9 Chapter of H.P. Land Records Manual.
4. Consequently, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, deems it fit to dispose of the same with a direction to respondent No. 3, to ensure that necessary order on the application for demarcation is passed expeditiously, preferably within a period of eight weeks. Ordered accordingly. Needless to say, authority concerned, while doing the needful in terms of the instant order, shall afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereafter. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, stand disposed of.
