Learned counsel representing the respondents submits that after disposal of CWP No.4211 of 2026 on 16.04.2026, which is sought to be executed by way of present execution petition, the respondents have released the amount of gratuity and leave encashment.

2. Learned vice counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the said factum, however, he submits that the interest has not been paid on the said amount.

benefit of gratuity and leave encashment, but once there is a delay in defraying the said amount, the petitioner is entitled to interest.

4. Learned counsel for the respondents-Board submits that the interest on the amount of gratuity and leave encashment shall be paid within a period of eight weeks from today.

5. In view of the above, the proceedings in the present execution petition are closed. However, in case the interest on the amount of gratuity and leave encashment is not paid within the aforesaid period, the petitioner may take an appropriate remedy in accordance with law.

6. Accordingly, the execution petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
