This Civil Revision Petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking for a direction to the learned Additional District Judge, Kancheepuram, to dispose of OS No.99 of 2017 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and carefully perused the materials available on record.
3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the parties were referred to Mediation and they were unable to arrive at a settlement. In view of the same, the trial is yet to commence in the suit.
4. Considering the grievance expressed by the petitioner and also of the fact that the suit has been pending from the year 2017, there shall be a direction to the learned Additional District Judge, Kancheepuram to dispose of OS No. 99 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This civil revision petition is disposed of with the above direction.
