2. Learned Deputy Advocate General on instructions from the Investigating Officer submits that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner/accused is not required. The investigating agency is in the process of going through the records and the audit reports of many years have to be verified which is, however likely to take time.

3. Thus, keeping in view the aforesaid circumstances emerging on record and keeping in view the fact that the investigation spans from the year 2009-2010, the interim order dated 09.09.2026 is confirmed. It is however, made clear that the petitioner shall join the investigation, if so required.

4. Needless to say that the petitioner shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence nor hamper the investigation of the case in any manner, whatsoever.

5. Petition stands disposed off in the aforesaid terms, so also the pending miscellaneous applications, if any.
