ORDER
The petitioner, working as the Headmaster (in-charge) in the Government Adi Dravidar High School, Thirumangalakurichi, has been imposed with a punishment of stoppage of increment for a period of two years with cumulative effect, vide proceedings dated 19.08.2026. Challenging the same, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
2. The petitioner is having an effective remedy by way of an appeal before the 1st respondent.
3. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to raise all the grounds before the 1st respondent.
4. Since the petitioner has inadvertently approached this Court by way of filing a writ petition before this Court, the period of limitation, if any, shall be condoned and the petitioner is directed to file an appeal
WP(MD) No. 27426 of 2026 before the first respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent shall consider the case of the petitioner sympathetically. No costs.
