COMMON ORDER

WP.No.42581 of 2026 has been filed for the following reliefs:- “forbearing the respondents and and their men, agents from collecting current consumption charges, demand charges and any arrears from the petitioner until the respondents makes payment of the outstanding dues of Rs.17,29,132 /- for the year of 2025 -2026 payable to the petitioner or give adjustment in the current consumption charges payable by the petitioner till the entire amount is adjusted.”

2. WP.No.42592 of 2026 has been filed for the following reliefs:- “forbearing the respondents and and their men, agents from collecting current consumption charges, demand charges and any arrears from the petitioner until the respondents makes payment of the outstanding dues of Rs.15,35,783 /- for the year of 2025 -2026 payable to the petitioner or give adjustment in the current consumption charges payable by the petitioner till the entire amount is adjusted.”

WP.No.42624 of 2026 has been filed for the following reliefs:- “forbearing the respondents and and their men, agents from collecting current consumption charges, demand charges and any arrears from the petitioner until the respondents makes payment of the outstanding dues of Rs.2,86,210 /- for the period from 01.06.2025 to 30.06.2025 payable to the petitioner or give adjustment in the current consumption charges payable by the petitioner till the entire amount is adjusted.”

4. WP.No.42632 of 2026 has been filed for the following reliefs:- “forbearing the respondents and and their men, agents from collecting current consumption charges, demand charges and any arrears from the petitioner until the respondents makes payment of the outstanding dues of

Rs.28,91,119 /- June and July 2026 payable to the petitioner or give adjustment in the current consumption charges payable by the petitioner till the entire amount is adjusted.”

This Court in a similar case in WP.No.47775 of 2025 has passed the following order:- “5.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of in similar terms -with a direction to the respondents to adjust the amount of Rs.16,92,851/- (for the year 2023 - 2024) payable by the respondents to the petitioner towards the electricity supplied to them by the petitioner, -with the current consumption charges, demand charges payable by the petitioner, till the entire amount is adjusted or exhausted. The respondents shall not take any coercive steps against the petitioner for disconnection of power supply till entire outstanding amount payable to the petitioner by respondents gets adjusted towards current consumption charges, demand charges etc., payable by the petitioner.”

6. In view of the above, these writ petitions are disposed of in similar terms, with a direction to the respondents to adjust the following amounts payable to the petitioners towards the outstanding dues, till the entire amount is adjusted or exhausted:-

(i) Rs.17,29,132/- for the financial year 2025–2026 (W.P. No. 42581 of 2026);

(ii) Rs.15,35,783/- for the financial year 2025–2026 (W.P. No. 42592 of 2026);

(iii) Rs.2,86,210/- for the period from 01.06.2025 to 30.06.2025 (W.P.No.42624 of 2026); and

(iv) Rs.28,91,119/- for the months of June and July 2026 (W.P.No. 42632 of 2026).

7. The respondents shall not take any coercive steps against the petitioners for disconnection of power supply till entire outstanding amount payable to the petitioners by the respondents gets adjusted.
