ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 25.04.2026 for transfer/mutation of patta in respect of the properties situated in Survey Nos.495/7A1, 495/7A2, 495/7B1A, 495/17, 495/18, 707/1B1 and 734/6A, situated at Valathur 'B' Village, Kancheepuram Taluk, Kancheepuram District.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner purchased the aforesaid properties in a Court auction conducted in E.P. No.11 of 2018 in O.S. No.113 of 1997 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Kancheepuram, and the sale was confirmed on 14.10.2024. It is further submitted that, despite submitting an application for transfer of patta along with the relevant documents, the same has not been considered by the respondents.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's application will be considered by the competent authority in accordance with law, after verifying the relevant revenue records and

documents
produced
by
the
petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 25.04.2026, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other persons concerned, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
