ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed challenging the rejection order dated 16.07.2026, whereby the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner was rejected on the ground of a delay of 63 days beyond the condonable period.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had filed a rectification application, and the rectification order was subsequently passed on 07.04.2026. Computed from the date of the rectification order, the petitioner filed the statutory appeal within a period of two months and three days, which is well within the period of limitation. It is submitted that the calculated total delay of 94 days occurred due to the time taken in pursuing the rectification application. __________
