Ka. 9963/ 2021/ A2 dated 17.12.2021 and to quash the same and consequentially direct the respondents not to permit the 4th respondent from erecting any poles or electric lines over the petitioners land in Survey No.133/3 of Managalapuram Village, Rasipuram Taluk or as contemplated in the impugned proceeding.

Order
This writ petition has been filed for the following relief: “To issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to call for the records of the 3rd respondent made in Na. Ka. 9963/ 2021/ A2 dated 17.12.2021 and to quash the same and consequentially direct the respondents

not to permit the 4th respondent from erecting any poles or electric lines over the petitioners land in Survey No.133/3 of Managalapuram Village, Rasipuram Taluk or as contemplated in the impugned proceeding.”
2. It is brought to the notice of this Court, vide the status report of the 4threspondent, that the 5threspondent, at whose behest the electric poles were to be installed in the pathway, has since applied for cancellation of the DCW application and refund of the amount paid which is pending before the TNPDCL. Therefore, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition.
3. In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.3164 and 3165 of 2022 are closed. In view of the order passed in this writ petition, W.M.P.No.22123 of 2022, filed seeking to vacate the order of status quo dated 18.02.2022, is also closed. 12-10-2026
