PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondent No.1 to dispose the revision filed by the petitioner dated 20.08.2026 and cancel the order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 30.06.2026 (served on 15.07.2026) and consequently direct the respondents No.1 to 3 to cancel the pattas in Patta No.1710 and 897
which stands in the name of Respondent Nos.4 and 5 respectively in respect of land in Survey Nos.489/1 and 465 in Sethur Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District and provide pattas in favour of the petitioners in respect of said land within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal. Considering the limited relief sought for in the Writ Petition, notice to the respondents 4 to 6 is dispensed with.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose the revision filed by the petitioners dated 20.08.2026 and cancel the order passed by the second respondent
WP(MD) No. 29363 of 2026 dated 30.06.2026 (served on 15.07.2026) and consequently, direct the respondents 1 to 3 to cancel the pattas in Patta Nos.1710 and 897, which stands in the name of respondents 4 and 5 respectively in respect of land in Survey Nos.489/1 and 465 in Sethur Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District and provide pattas in favour of the petitioners in respect of said land within the time stipulated by this Court.
3. The revision petition filed by the petitioners is pending consideration with the first respondent, which had been presented before him on 20.08.2026 as against the order of the second respondent dated 30.06.2026. In that regard, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioners' revision petition dated 20.08.2026, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as the respondents 4 to 6 herein, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve
(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
