PRAYER:
Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the Impugned Order passed by the 1st Respondent in Ni.Mu.A5/3798225/2025 dated 06.08.2026 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 2nd Respondent to issue patta in the petitioner's name in respect of the Survey Nos. 237/1, 237/10B, 237/5B, 237/7, 238/11, 238/7, 240/1, 240/6, 244/17, 248/14, 261/16, 263/14, 282/19, 283/6, 263/18, 265/2 lands are situated at Mela Puduvayal revenue village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for Respondents 1 and 2.
2. Since no adverse order is proposed to be passed against respondents 3 and 4, notice to them is dispensed with.
3. This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, challenging the Impugned Order passed by the 1st Respondent in Ni.Mu.A5/3798225/2025 dated 06.08.2026 and consequently direct the 2nd Respondent to issue patta in the petitioner's name in respect of the Survey Nos. 237/1, 237/10B, 237/5B, 237/7, 238/11, 238/7, 240/1, 240/6, 244/17, 248/14, 261/16, 263/14, 282/19, 283/6, 263/18, 265/20 situated at Mela Puduvayal revenue village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District.
4. The petitioner has approached this Court challenging the order passed by the 1st respondent, contending that a sale deed had been executed by one Maheshwari and that the impugned order had been passed without issuing notice to him. __________

5. A perusal of the impugned order reveals that the dispute arose out of a claim made by respondents 3 and 4 that the properties belonged to the temples, as recorded during the UDR proceedings. A further perusal of the impugned order reveals that one Chandrasekaran, son of Chinnayan, had also laid a claim to the property on the basis of a sale deed executed by the petitioner's vendor. Upon finding that the property belonged to the temple, the application filed by the purchaser, namely, Chandrasekaran, was rejected.
6. The petitioner is neither a party to the said proceedings nor has he impleaded Chandrasekaran, his vendor, or the temples in whose names the revenue records stand.
7. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition on the ground of non-joinder of necessary parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed.
