PRAYER:
Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 to 3 to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 05.08.2026 regarding the issuance of Patta in the name of the petitioner for the land measuring 5 cents comprised in Survey No.107/18, Kallathi Village, Mudikkarai Panchayat, Kalaiyarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.
2. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents 1 to 3 to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 05.08.2026 regarding the issuance of Patta in the name of the petitioner for the land measuring 5 cents comprised in Survey No.107/18, Kallathi Village, Mudikkarai Panchayat, Kalaiyarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District.
4. Considering the fact that the petitioner submitted an application dated 05.08.2026, seeking the grant of patta in respect of Natham lands, which he claims to be in possession of, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 05.08.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested persons, if any, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
