PRAYER:
Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.06.2026 and 29.09.2026 seeking cancellation of Patta Nos. 7980, 8203, 9366, 8204 and subdivision of S.Nos. 1078/2A, 1078/2B1, 1078/2B2 and 1078/2C in Palayam Village, Guziliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District in accordance with the provisions of Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act 1983 within such time as this Court may stipulate.

ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for Respondents 1 to 3. Considering the limited relief sought for in the Writ Petition, notice to the respondents 4 to 6, is dispensed with.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.06.2026 and 29.09.2026 seeking cancellation of Patta Nos. 7980, 8203, 9366,8204 and subdivision of S.Nos. 1078/2A, 1078/2B1, 1078/2B2 and 1078/2C in Palayamvillage, Guziliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District in accordance with the provisions of Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act 1983.
3. Considering the nature of relief that has been sought for in the writ petition, there shall a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.06.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, respondents 4, 5 and 6 as well as the interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve
(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
