For Applicant(s) Advocate : Mr. M K Bhardwaj For Respondent(s) Advocate : Mr. R V Sinha with Mr. Harsh Verma, Mr. Amit Anand Order of The Tribunal In the first call, Mr. Amit Anand was present on behalf of the respondents. However, proxy counsel appearing on behalf of UPSC had sought an adjournment since the arguing counsel for UPSC was not available.

2. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that this is a case where the UPSC is only a pro forma party and has been defended by the DoE. The issue, in short, is that the applicant has challenged an anomaly in the recruitment rules as fixed for the posts of Principal and Vice-Principal. As per the applicant, the age criteria for the two posts has been fixed irrationally.

3. However, since, learned counsel appearing on behalf of DoE is not present in the second call, the matter is adjourned to 16.12.2026.
