Learned counsel for the respondents submits that as per the supplementary counter affidavit dated 09.10.2026, the matter of pending cases, including the applicant's case, has been taken up by the Railway Board with the Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare and some reasonable time may be granted as per the guidance received from the Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare. It is observed that the applicant's case has not been decided by the respondents for long time, and correspondence is still going on. In view of the above, the final opportunity is granted to the respondents to decide the applicant's case within six weeks. List the case on 15.12.2026.
