By the medium of the instant writ petition, the petitioner has sought the following main reliefs: “A. That the acceptance of the nomination papers of the respondents No.7 & 8 for the post of Ward Member from Ward No.5, of Gram Panchayat Tyai, Development Block Amb, District Una, may kindly be held illegal as the private respondents No.7 & 8 not belongs to scheduled tribe category. B. The writ petition, on the face of it, is misconceived and the same is dismissed as such in limine, alongwith pending CMPs, if any. However, the petitioner is at liberty to seek appropriate remedy before the appropriate forum.
