Learned counsel representing respondent No.5 has produced a copy of Pension Payment Order-cum-Commutation Payment Order issued by the office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Himachal Pradesh. The same is taken on record.
2. A perusal of the aforesaid Pension Payment Order reveals that the date of authorization of pension has been stated to be 30.09.2026, and further, the date of start of pension has been defined as 01.01.2018. Since the competent authority has issued

the order, respondents No. 1 to 4 are directed to pay the pension and release the arrears in favour of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from today.
3. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of. However, it is made clear that in case the arears are not released in favour of the petitioner within eight weeks, he is at liberty to file an application for revival of the present petition.
Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
