ORDER

1. Heard learned counsels for both the sides.

2. Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner vehemently submitted that Rs.2450 crore deposited with the respondent in both the petitions should be adjusted against the payable amount of Rs.4319 crore for the next instalment of spectrum charges.

3. Learned ASG Mr. Vikramjeet Banerjee appearing on behalf of Union of India has strongly opposed the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner stating that the amount Rs.2450 crore paid by the petitioner for the above two matters was for the past dues and claims of the Government and not as a deposit towards any future liabilities.

4. The learned counsels for both the sides have requested for an early hearing of the matter.

5. As requested, these matters are adjourned for further hearing on 08.12.2026.
