CENTRAL ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL HYDERABAD (TELANGANA) NO. 5-10-193, 1ST FLOOR, HACA BHAVAN,HYDERABAD - 500004 Order Sheet Item no.: 12 O.A./836/2025 (TELANGANA) [ COMPASSIONATE APPOINTMENT ] Court No.: 2 No of Adjournment: 11 Order Dated: 29/10/2026 MOHD FAROOQ AHMED Vs POST TELANGANA CIRCLE

For Applicant(s) Advocate : DR K LAKSHMI NARASIMHA

For Respondent(s) Advocate : P NARAYANA Order of The Tribunal Heard learned counsels for the parties. Learned counsel for the applicant argues that the entire matter has been under consideration of the department, and because of the delay, despite his willingness and declaration, he has become overaged. The Hon'ble Supreme Court has already ruled in favour of such candidates. He has submitted a citation in the case of Raspelli Bhagya Kistaiya vs. General Manager, Western Coal Fields, on 12 August, 2026. According to the counsel for the respondents, the effect of discontinuation of the waiting list was not only in respect of the applicant, as can be seen at Annex-A3 to the OA. According to him, only after getting the order, dt. 10.10.2023, of the Hon'ble High Court in WP No. 27999/2023 (pg. 68), the applicant furnished a declaration in the prescribed proforma. He was interested in the job of Postal Assistant, and, only as a temporary measure, he wanted to be engaged as E.D. (Annex-A6). Post the matter on 11.11.2026 under the caption 'Part Heard'. Varun Sindhu Kul Kaumudi Member (A) K Adilaxmi ( court master )
