ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action on the petitioner’s representation dated 05.10.2026.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and his family members have been prevented from participating in the worship at the Church. Hence, the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondent authorities seeking appropriate relief. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the second respondent would submit that the Inspector of Police, Thattarmadam Police Station, Thoothukudi District, is the competent authority to consider the petitioner’s representation.
4. In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of the matter, the Inspector of Police, Thattarmadam Police Station,
WP Crl.(MD) No. 6040 of 2026 Thoothukudi District, is directed to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 05.10.2026, confined to the petitioner’s right to participate in worship at the Church, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the rival parties, and take appropriate action in accordance with law at the earliest.
