PRAYER: Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents to provide the petitioner with permanent suitable alternative/light duty employment with change of designation, grant full pay protection by fixing the basic pay at Rs.32,400/- and DA at Rs. 18,792/- revise and credit the correct Provident Fund of Rs.37,091/- with all consequential benefits.

ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to provide the petitioner with permanent suitable alternative employment with pay protection.
2. When this writ petition has been taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been provided with alternate employment, however, his pay has not been protected as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
4. As per Section 20 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, the petitioner is entitled for pay protection when alternative employment is provided on acquiring disability. Therefore, the respondents are directed to pay the salary to the petitioner in accordance
