ORDER
The Petitioner had applied for re-issuance of Passport No.W4589281. After submitting explanation dated 19.10.2026 in relation thereto, the petitioner has approached this Court.
2. Mr.R.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), accepts notice for the second respondent. He points out that C.C.No.558 of 2025 is pending trial before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Ambasamuthiram and that the petitioner has filed a quash petition in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.23295 of 2026.
3. In view of the interim stay granted in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.23295 of 2026, the petitioner is not in a position to approach the Judicial Magistrate for clearance. However, the petitioner is in a position to file a miscellaneous application in the pending Criminal Original Petition. By leaving it open to the petitioner to do so, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
