PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS, directing the respondents 1 to 7 to take action on petitioner’s representation dated 21.09.2026 seeking to forbear the respondent 1 to 7 from granting license, permission or other No-objections for the establishment or commencement of a fireworks factory in Survey Nos. 784/1A, 784/1B, 785/1, 789/2, 786, 775/1, 785/2, 787/1, 787/3, 787/4, 789/1, 78/2, 789/1A
and 790/2, situated at Vellakulam Village, Thiruvengadam Taluk, Tenkasi District, until the competent authority conducts a proper physical enquiry and verifies compliance with all applicable statutory and safety requirements with a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
After submitting representation dated 21.09.2026 to prevent respondents 1 to 7 from granting a licence or permission to the eighth respondent to set up a fireworks factory in survey numbers mentioned in the prayer of this Writ Petition, the petitioners have approached this Court for directions in that regard.
2. Mr.A.Sivasubramanian, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice for respondents 1 to 5 and 7. Mr.R.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), accepts notice for the sixth respondent. Mr.Sathya Chidambaram, learned counsel, accepts notice for the eighth respondent.
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the petitioners’ objections would be considered while taking a decision on the request for licence or permission by the eighth respondent.
4. In view of the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed __________
