ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This review petition has been filed to review the order dated 14.07.2026 made in WP No.18315 of 2025; whereby the writ petition filed challenging order passed under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002, was dismissed on the ground that as per Section 17 of the Act, any person aggrieved by the measures taken under Section 14 of the Act must challenge the same before the jurisdictional Debts Recovery Tribunal. However, while dismissing the writ petition, liberty was not granted.
2. Learned counsel for the review petitioner submitted that he is not seeking review of the order; however, submitted that this order should not stand in the way of the petitioner approaching the DRT with a petition to condone the delay, and that the DRT may consider the application on its own merits.
3. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.
4. We are not inclined to entertain the review petition; however, it is clarified that if the petitioner approaches the DRT with an application seeking condonation of delay, the same shall be considered in accordance with law and on its own merits.
5. With the aforesaid modification, this review petition is dismissed. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP No.41299 of 2026 is closed. (SUSHRUT ARVIND DHARMADHIKARI, CJ.)
