ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- “Directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioners statutory appeal dated 15.06.2026 against Proc.No.299/Nee2/2019 dated 09.04.2026 after affording due opportunity of hearing and considering all supporting documents, including the medical board certificate dated 06.05.2025 and the proceedings dated 17.07.2026 and 27.07.2026 within a time period as may be fixed by this hon'ble court and thus render justice.”

2. The main grievance of the petitioner is that, though she preferred an appeal dated 15.06.2026 before the 2nd respondent, challenging the order dated 09.04.2026 passed by the 3rd respondent, in and by which the punishment of compulsory retirement was imposed on her, the said appeal has not been disposed of by the 2nd respondent to date.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents.

4. Considering the limited relief sought by the petitioner and taking note of the fact that it is the statutory duty of the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner’s appeal dated 15.06.2026, on merits and in accordance with law within a reasonable period of time, the Writ Petition is disposed of. The 2nd
