WP Crl.(MD) No. 5706 of 2026 sentenced to undergo life imprisonment. Against which the son of the petitioner has preferred an appeal before this Court in Crl.A(MD) No.739 of 2024 and the same was partly allowed by modifying the sentence to three years vide judgment dated 24.09.2026. The son of the petitioner is now confined at Central Prison, Trichy. The son of the petitioner had been regularly developing chest pain for the past several years and his health condition also deteriorating.
