3. The petitioner submitted that he is the owner of the subject property and in order to survey and fix the boundaries to the subject property, he had made a representation on 10.10.2026 and since no further steps have been taken by the revenue authorities, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the above relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the application of the petitioner is pending from 10.10.2026, this Court is inclined to issue the following directions: “The second respondent is directed to process the application of the petitioner, dated 10.10.2026 on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If necessary, the second respondent can seek assistance of the third respondent at the time of surveying, who in turn, shall provide adequate police protection at the cost of the petitioner.”

5. It is made clear that the order passed and the proceedings undertaken pursuant thereto would not confer any right to possession of the property if the same is in the hands of third parties.
