CENTRAL ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL SRINAGAR Order Sheet Item no.: 12 T.A./4083/2020 (SRINAGAR) [ SELECTION ] SWP/WP NO.1610/2010 Court No.: 1 No of Adjournment: 28 Order Dated: 04/11/2026 MUSHTAQ AHAMAD SHAH Vs D/O FORESTS UT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR

For Applicant(s) Advocate : NONE

For Respondent(s) Advocate : MR. RAIS UD DIN GANAIE, DAG Order of The Tribunal Hon'ble Member (J) has joined the proceedings through virtual mode. It is brought to the notice of this Tribunal that the second copy of T.A./4083/2020 has not been furnished by the learned counsel for the petitioner for a long time, which suggests that the applicant is no longer interested in prosecuting the matter. The applicant has remained unrepresented on the last date of hearing, i.e., 13.07.2026, and even before that and today has also not appeared before this Tribunal. Even the facility of advancing arguments through virtual mode has not been availed of. It is the duty of the petitioner/litigant to be vigilant and pursue his case diligently. He is required to cause his appearance on the due date of hearing. This persistent absence leaves this Tribunal with no option but to presume that the applicant has lost interest in prosecuting the matter. In view of the above, T.A. No. 4083/2020 is dismissed for non- prosecution. However, the petitioner is at liberty to revive the petition if the cause still subsists in accordance with law, and subject to just exceptions from the respondents. Accordingly, the T.A., along with all connected M.As., if any, shall stand disposed of. Interim direction(s), if any, shall stand vacated. Prasant Kumar Member (A) Justice Ritu Tagore Member (J) Shubham Sharma ( steno 'd' )
