The applicants have approached this Tribunal challenging Annexure A-5 O.M dated 23.03.2017. When the matter came up for hearing on 14.01.2019, it was submitted that OP(CAT) was pending before the Hon'ble High Court, which has a bearing on this issue. Learned Standing Counsel for the Lakshadweep Administration informed us that the OP(CAT), which was pending before the Hon'ble High Court was one, arising from OA/1143/2013. It is informed to us that the order in the OA was under challenge in OP(CAT) 92/2017. Pursuant to the judgment therein, OA/1143/2013 was heard along wtih RA 61/2017 in OA/1143/2013 and OA/753/2017 was disposed of in terms of the order in OA/753/2017. Today there is no representation for the applicant. In the light of the order in OA/1143/2017, the learned Counsel for the applicant shall submit whether he proposes to pursue the present Original Application. Post on 06.11.2026.
