ORDER

This application has been filed under Section 14 of the Armed Forces Tribunal Act, 2007 by the applicant, submitting that in December, 2019 a criminal case was registered against him resulting in judicial custody from December, 2019 to January, 2021. Upon being released on bail by the competent criminal court in January, 2021, the applicant re-joined his unit immediately and from January, 2021 to May, 2022, the applicant was disbursed his full salary and allowances. However, unexpectedly from June, 2022 to June, 2024, his salary was unilaterally reduced to 25% thereby withholding 75% of his legitimate pay without issuing any formal show cause notice. With effect from June, 2024 his salary has been restored by the respondents. As the representations for grant of arrears for the period June, to June, were not considered, legal notice dated 21.01.2026/27.02.2026 was served upon respondents and thereafter, out of total calculated withheld arears of Rs. 8,32,587, the respondents,
