ORDER

The relief sought in the writ petition is to enforce a bond that had been created by the petitioner’s father, Somasundaram Chettiar. The petitioner claims that despite the bond/charge created, the properties have been sold. If that be the situation, the remedy for the petitioner is not before the police. I am not aware of any law under which the police grant a decree for enforcement of charge/mortgage. It is for the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional civil court and seek appropriate orders.

2. With the above observations, the writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 05-11-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No KAL
