ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus seeking a direction against the Respondents 1 and 2 to survey, measure, demarcate, and fix boundary stones for the subject property based on the petitioner’s online application No. 2026/N123/22/002573 dated 27.10.2026.

2. Heard the learned Counsel on either side. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner submitted that he is the owner of the subject property and in order to survey and fix the boundaries to the subject property, he had made an application on 27.10.2026 and since no further steps have been taken by the revenue authorities, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the above relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to issue the following directions: “The second respondent is directed to process the application of the petitioner, dated 27.10.2026 on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. If necessary, the second respondent can seek assistance of the third respondent at the time of surveying, who in turn, shall provide adequate police protection at the cost of the petitioner.”

5. It is made clear that the order passed and the proceedings undertaken pursuant thereto would not confer any right to possession of the property if the same is in the hands of third parties.

6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 05-11-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No cmr
