ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action against the respondents 3 to 6 for allegedly threatening the petitioner and unlawfully trespassing into the
WP Crl.(MD) No. 6009 of 2026 petitioner’s Chathiram property comprised in Old S.No.343/9 and New S.Nos.343/9A1, 343/9A2, 343/9B1, 343/9B2, 343/9C1, 343/9C2, situated at Sendokottai Village (Maliyakadu), Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District, based on his complaints dated 02.08.2026, 04.08.2026 and 07.08.2026.
2. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the private respondents 3 to 6, notice to them is dispensed with.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondents 3 to 6 are threatening the petitioner and attempting to trespass into his property with an intention to grab the same. Though the petitioner has submitted complaints to the respondent police on 02.08.2026, 04.08.2026 and 07.08.2026, no effective action has been taken.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that, based on the petitioner’s complaints, two CSR petitions were registered, an enquiry was conducted and the complaints were closed. He would further submit that the dispute between the parties is essentially civil in nature and that the petitioner has to work out his remedies before the competent Civil Court.
5. Considering the rival submissions, it appears that the dispute
WP Crl.(MD) No. 6009 of 2026 between the parties primarily relates to the title and possession of the property. Therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent Civil Court for appropriate relief, if so advised. However, if the petitioner submits any fresh complaint disclosing commission of a cognizable offence, the second respondent is directed to deal with the same in accordance with law.
6. With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of. 04-11-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No skn To
