( Uploaded on: 05/11/2026 04:06:29 pm )

WP No. 44564 of 2026

15.09.2026. The matter relates to an alleged erroneous re-fixation of salary, whereby the show-cause notice directs the writ petitioner to submit an explanation in respect of recovery of the excess amount paid.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that an appropriate explanation has been given to the respondents, but so far no order has been passed. However, there is every apprehension that without passing an order, the amount will be recovered.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the explanation to the show-cause notice has been received and orders yet to be passed.

4. Recording the submissions made on either side, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's explanation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any such order, it is always open to him to challenge the same in a manner known to law. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
