Notice. Mr. Ashwani Kaundal, Advocate appearing vice Mr. Vinod K Gupta, learned counsel, accepts service of notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. Petitioner is serving as Driver in respondent- Himachal Road Transport Corporation. His grievance is to the order dated 13.10.2026 that transfers him from Nahan Unit to Rohroo Unit. The transfer has been assailed on the ground that petitioner is due to retire within 2 years and 4 months.

3. To query of the Court, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner had remained posted at Nahan with effect from the year 2005. Apparently, this is the first transfer of the petitioner in more than 21 years. Petitioner is still left with more than 2 years to go before his superannuation.
4. Keeping these factors into consideration, I am not inclined to interfere with the impugned transfer order. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
