CENTRAL ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL PRINCIPAL BENCH 61/35, COPERNICUS MARG,NEW DELHI-110001 Order Sheet Item no.: 47 M.A./5540/2026 (DELHI) [ TAKEN ON RECORD DOCUMENT ] In O.A./3431/2023 PAY PROTECTION PREPONEMENT OF DATE Court No.: 5 No of Adjournment: Order Dated: 30/10/2026 MAHENDRA JAKHAR Vs HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE

For Applicant(s) Advocate : Ms. Sachin Chopra For Respondent(s) Advocate : Ms. Anupama Bansal Order of The Tribunal MA No. 5540/2026 The present MA has been filed by learned counsel for the applicant seeking permission to file her Vakalatnama in the instant case. She submits that the applicant had earlier engaged Mr. Rizwan as his counsel. However, the applicant now wishes to change his counsel and has, accordingly, filed the present MA. She further submits that the previous counsel has not issued an NOC. Accordingly, the present MA has been filed seeking permission to take her Vakalatnama on record in terms of Rule 64 of the Rule 64 of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) Rules of Practice, 1993

Learned counsel for the respondents vehemently opposes the prayer made in the present MA on the ground that a copy of the said MA has not been served upon them. She further submits that different counsel had appeared on behalf of the applicant on the last three dates of hearing; however, no such request for taking the Vakalatnama on record was made on those occasions. She submits that the applicant is adopting one pretext after another to delay the proceedings. Heard learned counsel for both parties. Every applicant has the right to change his or her counsel. In view of the same, the present MA is allowed. The Registry is directed to take the Vakalatnama on record. Learned counsel for the applicant seeks three weeks' time to file rejoinder, which is allowed. Re-list the OA on 30.11.2026. Shri Rajveer Singh Verma Member (J) Chhabilendra Roul Member (A) Dayawati ( steno 'c' )
