CENTRAL ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL PATNA Order Sheet Item no.: 4 O.A./683/2026 (RANCHI) [ FAMILY PENSION ] Court No.: 1 No of Adjournment: 1 Order Dated: 04/11/2026 RAJESH KUMAR Vs COAL

For Applicant(s) Advocate : Mr. M.P. Dixit For Respondent(s) Advocate : Mr. Pravin Kumar Pandey, ASC Order of The Tribunal Learned Counsel for the parties are present and heard. Learned Counsel for the applicant prays for issuance of notice, submitting that the applicant had earlier filed an OA No. 809/2025, which was disposed of by this Tribunal on 20.11.2025 with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representation of the applicant. The present OA pertains to the applicant's claim for grant of family pension. Learned Counsel for the applicant submits that, pursuant to the aforesaid direction, the respondents considered the representation of the applicant but rejected the claim on the ground that the prescribed conditions for grant of family pension were not fulfilled. The applicant has now assailed the reasonableness of the said reasoned order through the instant OA.

Issuance of formal service of notice is waived off since learned Counsel Mr. Pravin Kumar Pandey appears on behalf of the respondents on receipt of advance copy of the OA. Learned Counsel for the respondents is directed to file the written statement within a period of four weeks. List the matter for filing of written statement on 20.01.2027.
