(Sanjay Kumar Tickoo)JKAS Deputy Secretary to the Government
Encl: As Above From the perusal of above letter, it is not clear as to what action is required to be taken by Pay and Accounts office, Resident Commissioner, Govt. of J&K, Prithvi Raj Road, New Delhi, with regard to settlement of family pension as the letter referred above only talks about for taking appropriate action for early settlement of family pension. Keeping in view the fact that on earlier occasion learned Additional Advocate General has sought ten days’ time to send all the relevant documents to the Office of Accountant General, writing letter to the Resident Commissioner’s Office appears to be a delaying tactics which was not required to be taken by the respondents, however, if there is any deficiency, the same should have been clearly mentioned in the letter itself asking them to furnish those documents, if any, within a stipulated period of time inspite of writing a vague letter from one office to another. In view of the above, Sanjay Tickoo, JKAS, Deputy Secretary, to the Govt., the author of the letter referred above, is directed to remain personally present before the Court to clarify his action and the respondents are directed to comply with the order of this Tribunal failing which coercive action shall be taken against respondent no. 02, Director, Finance, Higher Education Department. List on 18.12.2026.
