1. The matter first came up for consideration on 28.10.2026 wherein the Court had passed an order which was subject to alteration/modification on motion, and at the same time, the respondents were directed to file a short affidavit as regards the competence of the Director, Rural Development Kashmir to have passed the order.
2. Today, the matter came up for consideration. Affidavit, as directed, has not been filed.
3. Mr. Satinder Singh, learned AAG, seeks some time to file the affidavit. Accordingly, two weeks' further time is granted to file the same.
4. Ordinarily, this issue could have been resolved, had the affidavit been filed as regards the competence of the Director who have passed the order impugned, but having failed to do so, the time is granted.
5. List on 23.11.2026.
