Perusal of order dated 27-10- 2026 reveals that Mr. Satinder - AAG, appearing for the official respondents submitted that the department is stuck and cannot proceed further in concluding the DPC in view of the order passed by the court. However, the DPC has already been concluded and the recommendations are in a sealed cover and it is for this reason that the respondents are not in a position to consider the promotions strictly in accordance with the rules, statutes and the SROs issued from time to time.

02/ Matter came up for consideration today, Mr. Musaib

- DAG, who appeared vice Mr. Satinder - AAG, submitted that though the DPC has been coducted and concluded yet certains items in the agenda were not taken care of. He sought a short adjournment of ten days' in the matter so that all the items in the agenda before the DPC are concluded in its entirety. 03/ In this backdrop, we direct the official respondents to conclude the DPC finally in accordance with the rules, statutes and the SROs, issued in this regard from time to time, and submit the status report before the court on next date of hearing. 04/ List for cosnideration on 07-12-2026.
