ORDER (ORAL)

Hon’ble Ms. Harvinder Kaur Oberoi, Member (J) At the outset, learned counsel for the applicant would submit that the applicant, who is an aspirant for the post of Constable (Female) and had participated in the recruitment exercise conducted for the post of Constable (Female) Executive under Delhi Police Examination, 2025, has been ousted at the stage of the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test on account of being short in height by 0.3 cm.

2. Learned counsel for the applicant would submit that the applicant was measured to be 156.7 cm in height, whereas the prescribed requirement is 157 cm. She would further submit that the applicant had earlier participated in the recruitment exercise conducted by the CRPF, wherein her height was measured during the physical test and recorded as 157 cm.

3. She would, therefore, submit that the present case warrants interference by this Tribunal and that appropriate directions be issued to the respondents to allow the applicant an opportunity for re-measurement of her height.

4. It is further brought to our notice that this Tribunal, in a similar matter in OA No. 4288/2026, has already issued directions to the respondents for re-measurement of the candidate's height.

5. In view of the above, and keeping in mind the principle of judicial propriety, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the present OA with a direction to the respondents to grant one opportunity to the applicant for re-measurement of her height, both digitally and manually, so as to ensure accuracy in the measurement. The above exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

6. Pending MA, if any, also stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
