CENTRAL ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL ALLAHABAD Order Sheet Item no.: 6 M.A./5786/2026 (ALLAHABAD) [ DELAY CONDON APPL ] [ SENIOR CITIZEN ] In Diary No.: 7177/2026 COUNTING OF PAST SERVICE Court No.: 3 No of Adjournment: Order Dated: 04/11/2026 YADUVANSH MISRA Vs EAST CENTRAL RAILWAY
For Applicant(s) Advocate :
For Respondent(s) Advocate : Order of The Tribunal Mr. Sunil, learned counsel for the applicant, and Mr. Anil Kumar, learned counsel for the respondents, are present and heard. Order on M.A. No. 5786/2026 in Diary No. 7177/2026 Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant has filed the present Original Application challenging the impugned order dated 26.09.2025 with a delay of about 12 days. He submitted that the delay occurred due to the ill health of the applicant, who is about 68 years of age and suffering from various old-age ailments. Due to his health issues, he could not sign the Original Application in time. The delay is neither deliberate nor intentional and has been sufficiently explained in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of the delay condonation application. Accordingly, he prayed for condonation of delay. Learned counsel for the respondents opposed the prayer for condonation of delay.
Considering the submissions of learned counsel for the parties and the grounds taken in the delay condonation application, we are of the opinion that sufficient cause has been shown for condoning the delay of 12 days. Accordingly, the delay in filing the Original Application registered as Diary No. 7177/2026 is condoned. Accordingly, M.A. No. 5786/2026 is allowed. The Registry is directed to allot a regular number to the case. Order on O.A. Learned counsel for the applicant is directed to complete the paper book in the ‘B’ File before the next date of listing. List this case on 23.11.2026 under the heading “For Admission”. Ms Manju Pandey Member (A) Rajnish Kumar Rai Member (J) Shakuntala Singh ( steno 'c' )
