Having considered the materials in the case diary andbearing in mind the prima facie role of the petitioner as theprincipal accused who dealt fatal blow on the victim and as hedoes not stand on the same footing with the co-accused personwho is on bail, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitionerat this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
