Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though thepetitioner retired from the service on 31.10.2005, but till date his retiraldues have not been paid. He even got issued a legal notice dated 14.12.2012(Annexure P-5) to the respondents, but still no action has been taken.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, in my opinion, the present petition can be disposed of at this stage without issuing notice tothe respondents with a direction to respondent no. 2 to take final decision onthe legal notice (Annexure P-5) got served by the petitioner by passing aspeaking order within a period of four months from the date of receipt ofcertified copy of this order. In case any amount is found to be due to thepetitioner, the same shall be paid within a period of two months thereafter.

Ordered accordingly.
